Most car batteries last between 3 and 5 years, depending on usage, climate, and maintenance. In hotter climates, lifespan may be shorter. Supercharge batteries offers a wide range of car batteries ranging from 30 (Classic), 40 (Silver Plus), 50 (Gold Plus) and 60 (Gladiator) months warranty. Yes, if you have the tools and basic mechanical knowledge. However, for safety and proper disposal, professional installation is recommended.
Yes. Extreme heat speeds up battery fluid evaporation, while extreme cold makes starting harder. Both can shorten battery life.
Check at least twice a year, or before long trips. Look for corrosion, loose connections, and ensure it’s charging correctly.
If it’s discharged (e.g., from leaving lights on), it can usually be recharged with a battery charger or by jump-starting. If it’s old or damaged, replacement is best.
Yes. Stop-start systems require AGM or EFB batteries designed to handle frequent charging cycles. Supercharge Stop Start batteries are designed for frequent starting, which is the primary characteristic of a stop-start vehicle. Supercharge batteries are used as OE replacement.
Never throw it in the bin. Please take it to a battery recycling centre. Many of our Supercharge representatives and dealers, auto parts stores, or mechanics offer to take used lead-acid batteries.
